The site is located near the Blacourt forest, between the hamlet of Montreuil and the national road 31 in Blacourt. It is one of the last wet meadows and moors, a typical site of the Pays de Bray. With about 30 hectares, communal plots are essentially composed of woodlots of pedunculate oaks and downy birches. The site is partly classified Natura 2000. A discovery trail of 3,6 km is developed and marked out in order to find out the exceptional floristic and faunistic heritage. The path crosses the Avenue Verte London – Paris.
